Record For Missions
WELLINGTON, Mon. (P.A.).—The record sum of £28.373 was subscribed during the past year for the general work of six missions coordinated by the New Zealand Anglican Board of Missions. This was renorted to the annual meeting of the board. Last year’s budget was set at £26,000, and was thus over-subscribed by £2373. The board is budgeting this year for £27,000.
It is to open a field in Japan and hopes soon to appoint a priest and a headmaster to a school in Kobe.
