Rangoon Mob Wrecks Newspaper Offices
RANGOON, Fri. (11 a.m.)—A mob of more than 5000 stormed the offices of three Rangoon newspapers today. They wrecked presses and threw files and furniture into the street, because the papers alleged that Thakin Tin, president of the Peasants’ Union and member of Cabinet, had been guilty of “misbehaviour” during a recent country tour.
