Branch T© Convoss For New Members
At a meeting of the Paparoa branch of the National Party last night a committee was appointed to canvass the district seeking new members. The canvassing committee appointed will consist of the following: the Chairman, Mr M. Hanlon, secretary, Miss C. Jenkins; - committee, Messrs R. Stirling, A. Cliff, J. J. Sutherland, C. T. Clark, H. Smith, A. Wilson, A. R. Heath, Mesdames E. A. Fenwick, M. Hanlon, and J. J. Sutherland. Delegates to the annual meeting of the party to be held in Whangarei on May 10, will be: Messrs Sutherland, Hanlon, Jenkins, Cliff, and Mrs Hanlon. Mr A. J. Murdoch, M.P., addressed the meeting on political questions, and the chairman of the Marsden electorate (Mr J. A. Finlayson) on party subjects. It was decided that the canvass for further branch members would be undertaken immediately.
