Grants For Brook's Rd., Hikurangi School
Following representations made to the Minister of Works (Mr Semple), the Government has made a grant of £525 on a £3 for £1 basis for the formation of Brooks’ Road, Waipu. Thi- announcement was received by the member for Marsden (Mr A. J Murdoch).
In addition, a grant has been made by the Minister of Education (Mr MeCoombs) for an extensive scheme of improvements to the Hikurangi school grounds. x Unfortunately this work will be delayed, to the lack of the neces•sary .machinery.
