Motatau School Nears Completion
The new Motatau Native School is expected to be completed within a fortnight.
Built on the modern, open-air style the new wooden building contains two classrooms each 2Gft by 24ft, as well as coat and bag rooms for the pupils, and a private room for the teachers. The building is being supplied with a septic system and will have an abundance of water pumped to a convenient site and then conveyed to the school by pipes. Approximately 100 pupils will attend the school, and tenders are being called for the erection of a third classroom.
