Fell Over Wharf, Landed On Launch
A youthful cyclist experienced a lew seconds of excitement on a recent afternoon when on alighting from his bicycle he placed his foot past the edge of the Whangarei Town Wharf, and, losing his balance, toppled over the side.
He did not receive a ducking, however, as he fell on to the cabin of a launch tied alongside. With assistance he handed his machine back on to the wharf and rode off. apparently none the worse for his experience.
