Jewish Government For Palestine
JERUSALEM. being asked to form a Provisional Government for the Jewish State after the United Nations Commission arrives in Palestine, the Jewish Agency has announced that it has completed plans for the formation of eight Ministries and proposes to prepare for seven more, says the correspondent of The Times.
The Ministries ready are for Foreign Affairs. Interior, Education, Agriculture, Health, Labour, Public Works and District Administration.
The formation of a Ministry of Defence has been left to the Haganah. A spokesman for the agency said the transfer of Jews now in the service of the Palestine Government would be. almost automatic. He added that Arab and British officials had expressed willingness _to serve in a Jewish state. He could give no names or exact numbers but said that the willing Arabs were not j uniors.
