REASON
CANBERRA: The leak in the hull of the Wyatt Earp was not the reason for her return from the Antarctic, said the Minister of the Navy (Mr W. J. F. Riordan) yesterday. The main reason was the subsidence of timber supports under the new engines fitted in Adelaide. The Minister said the Government expected repairs to the Wyatt Earp to be completed quickly. The Antarctic expedition would continue this season as planned. • » •
