SOMALILAND
LONDON: Italy has submitted a claim for trusteeship over the former Italian colony of Somaliland to the special deputies for the former Italian Empire of the Big Four Foreign Ministers, who are due to agMiu in London soon.
Meanwhile, rioting, believed to be between Italians and Somalis, has broken out at Mogadishu, Somaliland. Forty Somalis are reported killed. The situation is said to be getting worse and British troops are standing by.— (10 a.m.)
