DIRECTOR
AUCKLAND: Sir Harold Luxton. advisory director of the Bank of New Zealand in Melbourne, and chairman' of directors of the National Mutual Life Association, Australasia, Ltd., arrived in Auckland by flyingboat yesterday. He will spend a three weeks’ holiday in New Zealahd.
A former Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Sir Harold has been a member of the 'Melbourne City Council since 1919. He is chairman of the Metropolitan Gas Co. and Jas. McEwen and Co. Fty., Ltd. During the First World War he served overseas in the Australian Field Artillery and the Royal Australian Air Force.
