Railway Employee Killed In Yards
WELLINGTON, Tue. (P.A.)—Norman Rogers, aged about 60, a railway employee, was killed instantly when he was run over in the railway goods yard just after 1 p.m. today. He was crossing the line to Aotea Quay goods shed when he was run over by a rake of five freezing wagons. The body was badly mutilated. Mr Rogers was employed in the goods shed office, but was not a permanent employee.
