Sutcliffe To Play During Honeymoon
DUNEDIN, Tue. (P.A.) Bert Sutcliffe, New Zealand, Auckland and Otago representative cricketer, now has decided to play for Otago in its last and vital Plunket Shield match this season against Canterbury at Dunedin.
He was not expected to play in this match because of his wedding at Auckland on January 17, a few days before the Otago-Canterbury game. Sutcliffe’s associates say that it is a fair, bet that his bride will be among the most interested spectators at Carisbrook during the match.
