High Commissioners Meet Cabinet Heads
LONDON, Fri. (10 a.m.). —Dominion High Commissioners met senior members of the British Cabinet at No. 10 Downing Street today, Reuters political correspondent says. The meeting followed Cabinet’s discussion of the international situation yesterday, at which the Foreign Minister (Mr Ernest Bevin) reviewed British foreign policy as the result of the failure of the Foreign Ministers’ conference.
The Prime Minister (Mr Attlee) presided at the meeting, which Mr Bevin, the Colonial Secretary (Mr CreechJones), the Lord Chancellor (Lord Jowitt) and the president of the Board of Trade (Mr Wilson) attended.
