WALLACE
WASHINGTON.—The president of the American Federation of Labour (Mr William Green) announced tonight that he was opposed to Mr Henry Wallace running for President and 'said the creation of a third party was a “great political mistake.” Mr Green, who was speaking „ for himself and not for the federation, said Mr Wallace’s candidature would only help “reactionary Republican candidates.”
He added that he thought labour generally would oppose Mr Wallace. k* * t*
