Club Entertainment
Members of the Whangarei Ladies’ Gardening Club were entertained at their last afternoon meeting by the Whangarei Women’s Institute Drama Circle, who presented a one-act play, “Ladies in Waiting,” before a large attendance. The parts were admirably acted by Mesdames Corbett. Craig, Taylor, Webb. Smith and Roland.
The president (Miss Clark-Walker) thanked the visitors for their entertainment, and presented each with a bouquet. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses.
