Stockton Miners Maintain Record
(P.A.) WESTPORT. This Day. The record output of coal is still being maintained at the Stockton State Colliery.
For the first 14 working days of this month a total of 15.262 tons of highgrade bituminous coal was produced, the output being 243 tons higher than for any comparable period. The sustained working effort reflects the greatest credit on the men concerned. particularly when the bleak nature of the coal area on the Stockton plateau nearly 3000 ft above sealevel is taken into account
