Britain's Ryder Cup Team Picked
(Rec. 10 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 26. The Professional Golfers’ Association has invited Max Faulkner, the Weston-Super-Mare professional, to join the British Ryder Cup team to play the United States at Portland, Oregon, on November 1. Tiie association had left the last place open for the winner of the News of the World championship, but the two eligible competitors, Burton and Smithers, both lost their matches today. The Ryder Cup team is Cotton (captain), Daly, Adams, •S. King, Rees, Ward, E. Green, Lees, Faulkner.
