Radios For Power Board Vehicles
Recently fitted to North Auckland Power Board’s vehicles, two-way radio sets for communication with depots have been tested with satisfactory results, said the engineer (Mr T. R. Overton) at the last board meeting.
Although tests up to a range of 15 air miles have been good, a much greater coverage is expected when a proper amplifier and a permanent aerial have been fitted to the main depot unit.
