More Immigrant's Sailing For N.Z.
The second draft of immigrants under the Government’s free and assisted immigration scheme is to leave London in the Atlantis next Tuesday, said the Minister of Immigration (Mr McLagan) today. A The draft consists of 51 women, and 197 men.
The women include 15 nursing personnel, 22 hospital and general domestics and 14 typists. The men include 90 labourers for heavy industry, 37 for the sawmilling industry, 21 for mining, 31., for engineering, and 18 skilled factory workers. ■
In addition to the immigrants 196 ,boy scouts will be among the passengers.
