Franco Appeals
(Rec. 2.30 p.m.) MADRID. This Day. Franco, urging Spaniards to vote tomorrow for the law of succession which declares Spain a monarchy and makes him head of the state, told them in a broadcast last night: “By voting for the law you have a chance to show your unity in the face of foreign interference in our internal affairs.”
He added that the law represented the will of the entire nation and not any one elector or group.
