Kaitaia Lodge Ball
fylembers of the Kaitaia lOOF men’s and women’s lodges, Northern Star and Koa Rebekah, combined for their annual ball in the A. and P. Hall on Wednesday night. Despite the worst weather conditions to date this year, the function proved successful and enjoyable, with upwards of 75 couples dancing to music by the Versatile Orchestra. Bro. H. Kirtlan, N.G., was M.C. and hard work by members had ensured the best of arrangements, the delightful home-made" supper served by the women’s lodge members being a feature. Extra dance numbers were played by Misses Olga Jurlina and M. Kitchen.
