WEDDINGS
A small but pretty wedding ul Far Northern interest was celebrated at Higher Thought Temple, Auckland, on the afternoon of Saturday. May 24, when Heather Elizabeth Deane, of Awanui was united in matrimony to James Graham Summerfield, eldest son of Mr and Mrs R. H. Summerfield. of Kaitaia. The ceremony was performed by Mr T. Garland (Unde Tom). Escorted by her father, the bride wore a re.vat blue suit with white accessories, and carried a matching bouquet oi white chrysanthemums and roses with asparagus and maidenhair fern The bridesmaids wore Miss M. Hamid, wiio wore a dusky pink suit, and Miss G. Bowen, -who was frocked in blue. The groom was attended by lm brother, Mr B. Summerlidd, as best man, and Mr B. Deane.
