Disloyalty Among U.S. Officials
(Rec. 11.0. ) WASHINGTON, June 13. A Civil Service Commission report to Congress, released today, said that 24 Federal officials were dismissed or resigned and 42 were denied jobs after checks on their loyalty had been made between January, 1946. and March. 1947. The commission listed 47 as Communists. three as Fascists, 11 as Nazis and five as Japanese. The report said that since 1941 it classified 1313 as ineligible for Government positions because of disloyalty.
