Campbell Postpones World Speed Attempt
(Rec. 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, aune 13. Following a test run this afternoon, Sir Malcolm Campbell announced that he had decided to postpone his attempt on the world water speed record for about one month. His Bluebird today was “snaking" (slewing off course), and a number of important adjustments would be necessary before the record attempt was made.
Sir Malcolm said his highest speed in the trials was about 100 to 110 miles an hour.
