Bos Murphy's Claim
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The action in which the boxer, Bos Murphy, is claiming £25 damages for alleged defamation from each o f four defendants, was called in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday. Defendants were W. M. Brosnan, a member of the Hutt Valley Boxing Association: G. P. Aldridge, secretary of the New Zealand Boxing Council: J. R. Simpson, chairman of the council; and A. S. Parker, a member of the council. Mr R. E. Harding appeared for Murphy. Mr E. Page for Brosnan, and Mr W. J. Kemp for the other defendants.
By consent, Mr A. M. Goulding, S.M., adjourned the case for a week without prejudice to the rights of defendants to raise the question of removal into the Supreme Court.
