The Bronchvood Women’s Institute members held their monthly meeting in the town hall. Members also took the opportunity to wish Miss Ola Colebrook, who was once secretary of the Brondwood branch, the best of luck on her approaching marriage. The roll-call was a recipe for pickles. The competition for the best piece of embroidery was won as follows: Miss Colebrook 1, Mrs Smith 2, Mrs Ward 3. V competition, which was supplied by Mrs
C. Harris, was won by Mrs Ward with Mrs Kingdon second. After afternoon tea a presentation was made to Miss Colebrook.
