Tutekehua
The Tutokehua Women's Institute meeting was held in the Institute room on January 14. Mrs Tulloch presided. Owing to holidays and hay-making, there was not a very good attendance. The motto was: “It’s just the little homely things, the unobtrusive things, the ‘won’t you let me help you’ things, that make our pathway light.” The roll call was a humorous reading. Competitions: Put! pastry, Mrs Tulloch 1. Mrs F. Walker 2: flower bloom. Mrs J. G. Templeton 1, Mrs Tulloch 2; lucky number, Mrs W. H. Robinson. The paper hat competition was won by a visitor, Mrs Mardon. Hostesses for the day were Mesdames Tulloch and Neill.
