Woman Thrown When Horse Shies At Train
(Special.) KAIKOHE, This Day. When she was thrown from a horse near the Kaikohe railway station yesterday, Mrs Kawana Erueti, an elderly Maori, suffered injuries which necessitated her removal to the Kawakawa hospital.
The horse was frightened by a shunting train and shied. A child who was also on the horse fell, but was not injured.
