(P.A.) HASTINGS, This Day. Top price for stud Southdown rams at the Hawke’s Bay fair vesterday was fOO guineas paid by Mr W. R. Oakley, of Waipukurau, for a shearling offered cn account of the estate of Mr W. J. Gimblett, of Ngatarawa. The only other sale to pass the century mark was for a shearling from the same breeder’s consignment which was knocked down to N. J. Cullinane, if Oringi, Dannevirke, for 100 guineas. ........
