Olympic Gomes

(Rcc. 11 mm.) LONDON. Jan. 23. Work has begun at Wembley in connection with the organisation of the Olympic Games, which are opening on July 29, 1948, and closing on August 14.' They will consist of 17 events, in which the greatest athletes of 25 nations will participate. A running track with seven lanes will supplant the greyhound and speedway tracks of Wembley Stadium.
