Air Pilots' Pay

(Rec. 11 a.m.) CHICAGO, Jan. 22. Arbitrators announced an award in the Transworld Airline dispute providing that pay for first pilots on overseas routes will be increased by 100 dollars a month, co-pilots 60 dollars. domestic pilots 60, domestic copilots 40. The rates will now range from 925 to 1100 dollars monthly for overseas first pilots and 290 to 520 for co-pilots, both according to length of service. Domestic l-ates arc slightly lower. All Transworld aircraft were grounded for 25 days by a strike which ended on November 15 when both sides agreed to accept arbitration.
