(1.15 p.m.) . NEW YORK, Jan. 7. The Wall Street Journal says over-r seas telephone calls have increased ten-fold since 1941. Half a million telephone calls were made to and from the United States in 1946, compared with 50,000 in 1941. All except 2,000,000 of the estimated 54,000,000 telephones in the world are able to be connected, but Turkey, Java, Albania, Korea and China, are not yet opened to overseas telephone circuits.
