Primary Schools Break Up For Holidays
Primary schools throughout the country yesterday broke school for the Christmas holidays. For six weeks pupil and teacher may look forward to a period of .uninterrupted pleasure, thoughts of desks and blackboards far from mind. Indications are that many young folk will be going away for the holidays but not a few have volunteered for temporary jobs for part of the time to make pocket money for the remainder of the holidays. School recommences on February 4, 1946.
