Holiday Closing Dates For Business Premises
Shops and offices in Whangarei will observe the holiday periods as follows:
BAKERS.—CIosed December 25 and 26 and January 1 and 2. BUTCHERS. —Open to 8 p.m. Christmas. Eve; closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day; open December 27-29; closed until January 3 and then back to normal hours.
BANKS.—Closed December 25 and 26 and January 1 and 2. LAW OFFICES.—CIosed tomorrow and re-opening January 14. BUSINESS AND COMMERCIAL HOUSES.—CIosed December 25 and 26; open to 8.30 p.m. Friday, December 28. and closed January 1 and 2. INSURANCE OFFICES.—CIosed December 25 and 26 and 27 and January 1 and 2.
“NORTHERN ADVOCATE.” —No publication on Christmas and New Year’s Day. Otherwise normal hours, except for job printing department, closed until January 14. POLICE COURT. Opening January 21 and 22, except J.P.’s Court, which may be opened if circumstances demand it.
