Northland Electricians
The Monthly meeting of the Northland branch of the New Zealand Institute of Electricians was held in the Town Hall supper room. Twentyfcur members were present. The president (Mr R. F. S. Williams) welcomed Mr Keys, Inspecting Engineer, P.W.D., and secretary of the Wellington branch, and invited him to adddress the meeting. Mr C. Comber presented the lecture for the evening, his subject being “Electronics.” He traced electronics from the structure of the atom and the atomic theory to the many applications of the principle of electronics in industry today. Mr Keys answered numerous'questions and explained many points in the gazetting of regulations as applied to electrical wiring.
