N.Z. Members Of Far East Commission Leave
i (Special) AUCKLAND, This Day Three New Zealand members of the Far East Commission left Auckland yesterday in the plane with the-Prime Minister (Hon. P. Fraser). They are Colonel G. R. Powles, Mr. F. Corner, of the External Affairs Department and Mr. J. M. Bertram, of Auckland, a former Rhodes Scholar who returned to New Zealand recently after' spending three and a-half years as a prisoner of the Japanese. They will leave Mr. Fraser’s aircraft at Honolulu, where they will be joined by the New Zealand Minister to Washington, Mr. C. A. Berendsen. The commission meets in Tokio shortly. *
