Seek Holiday Work By Dental Students

(Special.) RAWENE, This Day. A suggestion that some dental students might desire to spend part of their vacation practising dentistry in Hokianga was put to the senior dental officer at Auckland in a letter sent from the Hokianga Hospital Board office recently, at the instigation of the board's medical superintendent (Dr. G. M. Smith). Dr. Smith indicated that there was a fairly large field for practice of this nature in Hokianga and stated that the students would have to provide the necessary instruments and special equipment. The Hokianga special area medical clinics would be made available to the students for their work and the local district nurses would assist them in every possible way. No reply has as yet been received to the suggestion.
