French Want Laval
(Rec. 11.10 a.m.) LONDON, May 6 A French Government statement broadcast over Paris radio, made it clear that France sought the expulsion of Laval to France, not handing him over to the Allies, “which is the intention of the Spanish Government. It is not understood what juridical argument would justify expulsion to Allied territory rather than France. Laval’s case is one for French justice.”
