Riots In Argentina
SANTIAGO. CHILE. October 4. Delayed despatches report riots in Buenos Aires on September 23 between students demanding a break with the Axis and young Nationalists in support of General Ramirez. Mounted police and tear gas squads fought the rioters for more than an hour. The Government has since been reported to have removed two of several pro-Nazi university heads whose appointments caused a nation-wide students' strike.
