High Opinion Of HZ. Naval Trainees
(Special 11 a.m.) LONDON, Oct. 4. "We want as many New Zealanders as you can lei us have,” the commanding officer of H.M.S. Ganges (Capt. W FallowfiecD told 'the New Zealand High Commissioner (Mr,. Jordan) who recently visited this training station. He met 46 New Zealanders who recently arrived to undergo the first part of their training for commissions in the R.N.Z.N.V.R. Over 1250 New Zealanders have passed through the Ganges, 95 per cent of whom were later commissioned to H.M.S. King Alfred. Mr. Jordan learned of the very high opinion held of them.
