Said On Chungking
CHUNGKING. August 24. It is officially announced that in the Japanese raid on Chungking two Zeros were shot down, one was forced to land and five enemy bombers were destroyed outside the city. Chinese planes suffered only slight damage. The Japanese dropped bombs hurriedly and haphazardly.
