Maungakaramea
Maungakaramea Hall was packed on Tuesday evening to celebrate the sheep dog trials. The M.C.s were Messrs. B. and E. Child and C. and R. Thorne. The music was supplied by Bruce Jonas’s orchestra. There was a very jolly atmosphere and a “big evening” was the verdict of all. The beautiful decorations were the work of Miss Joy Babe and Miss Helen Crawford. The two Monte Carlos were won by Mr. Jonas and Miss Mollie O’Shea, and Mr. lan Crawford and Mrs. Mitchell. Supper was supplied by the ladies.
