Kaikohe Golf Club’s Annual Meeting
(Special) KAIKOHE, This Day. A suggestion that May 2 be decided upon as opening day was put forward at the annual meeting of the Kaikohe Golf Club, held on Thursday evening. The final decision is to be placed in the hands of the newly formed committee, who will endeavour to have the course in order at an early date. In his report, the president (Mr. P. M. Williams) stated that, owing to unfavourable conditions experienced during the past year, the season, could not altogether be termed a successful one. However, he hoped that, with the links in good condition and additional members, the ensuing season would be better. Election of officers resulted: President, Mr. E. W. Morrow; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. Crawley and P. J. Coyne; club captain, Mr. L. W. Frank; secretary, Mr. A. Borrows; assistant secretary, Mr. T. L. G. Johnson; hon. auditor, Mr. J. Adam; committee, Messrs. G. Williamson, P. M. Williams, E. P. Smith, A. J. Edwards and A. C. Hingston. Subscriptions will remain the same as the previous season.
