Aleutians’ Bombings
WASHINGTON, February 20.
A Navy communique from the north Pacific on February 13 states that United States surface forces bombarded Japanese positions at Holtz Bay and Chicago’s Harbor on Ami Island. Results were noi observed.
An aircraft shot down two Japanese float planes attempting to attack positions in the western Aleutians. No damage was suffered.
