Motutangi Calf Club Parade
Motutangi School held its calf club parade early in the week. The calves turned out in great condition. Mr. W. F. Blanchard was judge, and in his opinion the calves were a credit to the boys who reared them. The children took their turn as judges, and did remarkably well, being only a few points out from the judging of Mr. Blanchard. The result was: Drago Yerkovich 1, Neville Beasley 2, Dick Wagner 3.
For calf rearing, Drago Yerkovich was awarded first place, Peter Yerkovich second and Neville Beasley third.
For dairy type, Neville Beasley scored top marks, Drago Yerkovich second and Peter Yerkovich third.
