Maromaku Calf Club

Maromuku, stronghold of the call' club movement, remained true to form yesterday when 35 animals were paraded before the judges, Messrs. G. S. B. Morrison and B. P. Hawker and Mrs. L. Hawken. There was the usual large attendance of adults. In appreciation of the splendid showing of the children, special prizes were donated during the day by Mrs. Going, Mrs. Brydon and Mr. C. H. Callaghan. The official party were entertained to luncheon, and all who contributed to the success of the day were neatly thanked by a pupil, Maurice Callaghan. Results; — Heavy breeds.
