Mossie Says Jews, Capitalists Cause Wars
(P.A.) PALMERSTON NORTH, This Day. “I am sorry to think you are of En;A lish birth. You are a disgrace to your country,” said the chairman of the Armed Forces Appeal Board (Mr. Lusk) announcing (he dismissal of an appeal on conscientious grounds by Mossie Rose, freezing works employee, called tip for territorial service.
The reservist said he would not join the forces in any capacity. Reservist admitted that he told young fellow employees that they were “mugs” and fooltsh to join the army, but they did not take much notice of him. Reservist contended that wars were caused by Jews and capitalists and added that if the Japanese came he would get out of the read, but did not know where.
