WOMEN S INSTITUTES
The Mangonui Women’s Institute’s monthly meeting was held in McKay’s Hall on May 1. There was a fair attendance. .
The roll-call was “The Oldest Thing I Possess.”
The points competition, a dozen pieces of shortbread, resulted: Mrs. Subritzky 1, Mrs. Barrett 2. The motto was: “See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.” The hostesses were Mrs. Fiesst and Miss D. Wilton.
