Kaitaia Town Board Election
The official count for the Kaitaia Town Board election has not altered the position of candidates as previously announced. Mr. J. TB. Taaflfe retains his position at the top of the poll with 207 votes, an increase of one. Mr. Quilter's total has also been increased by one vote to 206. Mr. D. Archibald has gained two votes, making his figures 198. The voting for other candidates was: Roughsedge 179, an increase of one; Thompson 177, an increase of five; G. Rickard 153, an increase of three; J. Clark 149, an increase of one; T. S. Houston remains at 167.
