KING LEOPOLD IS REPORTED TO HAVE INFORMED PRESIDENT ROOSEVELT OF THE DELIBERATE BOMBING BY THE GERMANS OF THE AMERICAN HOSPITAL AT OSTEND ON SUNDAY. All the doctors and nurses and 200 patients were killed within a few minutes. 'Eye-witnesses say the 'building was blown to bits in a few seconds and another wave of the bombers dropped incendiary bombs on the wreckage.
